Previous Class at Diva Dolci Culinary School:

Chocolate Swiss Roll (Cake)
Sunday, December 9th,  1 – 4 pm   $45

Decadent dark chocolate cake (gluten free) baked into a sheet, and rolled up with a creamy vanilla bean filling – what more can you want? The class will learn the proper mixing technique for this sponge cake, know how long to bake, and practice rolling it up. We will finish it with dark chocolate ganache, and other fun toppings. This recipe will become a favorite in your home kitchen!

Creating a Tarte Tatin (French Apple Tart)
3 hour hands-on class – Learn traditional French techniques to make this delightful French Apple Tart. The tart consists of a Shortdough Crust ( similar to pie crust) with Caramelized Apples. Taste your creations, and take home a small tart for two in a cast iron skillet that is yours to keep!
  • Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students. A minimum of 4 students needed to confirm the class.
  • If you have *food allergies, please inform the instructor prior to class. All efforts will be made to accommodate your allergies.
  • No class cancellations accepted later than 2 weeks prior to class. Course credit offered for future class if student is sick or cannot attend.
  • We will be in touch with the details of the course one week prior to class date.
2 classes offered: one using Organic/non-GMO Italian Einkorn Wheat and a separate class using Organic Gluten Free flours. Hope Creamery Butter is used in both tart recipes.
